The pavilion, designed by Lina Ghotmeh – Architecture, is inspired by the dhow boat, a traditional wooden sailing vessel used in pearl diving.
It reflects a fusion of Bahrain’s traditional boat-building techniques and Japanese woodworking craftsmanship.
