Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) developed a research facility in Odaiba to attract leading researchers from around the world and support advanced international research. The project forms part of a larger complex, working in coordination with an adjacent science museum and accommodation for international researchers.
ALG focused on enhancing the building’s transparency by illuminating its structural elements. In addition, the lighting design allows research activities to be visually accessible from the exterior, enhancing the experience for visitors.
