Shinjuku Oak Tower
This project represents the final development within the Nishi-Shinjuku redevelopment area. The development comprises four independent buildings on the same site: a 38-story tower developed by Sumitomo Realty & Development, a 23-story tower by Nippon Tochi, and two mid-rise buildings.
Architectural Lighting Group (ALG) was responsible for the lighting design of the shared lobbies of the high-rise towers and the surrounding exterior areas.
The galleria serves as the main lobby space, connecting the two towers. CDM 70W spotlights installed at the bases of the arches illuminate the space from both sides, creating an internal glow and achieving a lantern-like effect.
At the end of the galleria, a circular LED chandelier acts as a focal point in the elevator lobby. The polished marble flooring reflects the galleria’s light, enhancing the elegance of the space.
