The Bahrain Pavilion was designed by Lina Ghotmeh—Architecture, an architecture firm based in Paris, France. The Kingdom of Bahrain flourished through its pearl industry. This pavilion is modeled after a ‘ dhow boat’ (a traditional Bahraini wooden boat) vessel once used for natural pearl diving. [Lecture] Miho Konishi Delivered a Lecture at Waseda University Art School in 2024
On Monday, December 9th, from 7:55 PM to 9:35 PM, our lighting designer, Miho Konishi, gave a lecture at the Waseda University Art School, an evening educational institution of Waseda University. This lecture was part of the Waseda University Art School curriculum and continued from last year. It focused on the work of lighting designers, exploring how “light” serves as an essential element in creating spatial experiences. Approximately 45 participants attended the lecture.
