Lighting Design Project

International Christian University New Physical Education Center

(Architect：Kengo Kuma and Associates＋NIHON SEKKEI, INC. / Mitaka Tokyo)
― Lighting design for the Campus Grand Design to realize 21st century liberal arts
The International Christian University initiates its’ campus Grand Masterplan Design. Beginning with reconstruction of athletic facilities, ICU has initiated to execute its Grand Masterplan Design. New athletic facilities consist of Gymnasium with full Basketball Court, adjacent Pool and Tennis courts with Roof cover.
These facilities are commissioned to Kengo Kuma Associates, Architect together with Nihon Sekkei where ALG was asked to assist and enhance their architectural concept through lighting.

LIGHTING FAIR 2019 “International Lighting Design Seminar ENLIGHTEN ASIA ＋ LIGHTING FAIR”

“Lighting Fair 2019” was held on March 5 to March 8 at the Tokyo Big Sight. Miho Konishi, ALG’s Lighting Director, gave a seminar as moderator in the event. As a panelist of the seminar, we have invited Mr.Kazuo Tase, President and CEO at SDG Partners, Inc. The theme was “SDGs and Lighting: A world we hope to achieve in 2030 and the role of lighting“. They discussed vision of light in the future based on SDG’s.
